Arthur Rackham Mother Goose is for sale. This edition of Mother Goose was published by William Heinemann in 1971. The original publisher’s mauve coloured binding has a silver decoration to the front board and silver lettering to the spine. A wonderful illustrated book with 12 great colour Arthur Rackham illustrations.
The binding is in Very Good condition but with light stains to the front and back boards and very light fading to the spine.
There are 153 numbered pages that include a wonderful colour Frontispiece by Arthur Rackham that is entitled Jack Sprat and His Wife, an illustrated Title Page, and 12 wonderful full page colour illustrations by Arthur Rackham with the wonderful children’s verses contained within this collectable Arthur Rackham book.
The pages are in mostly Very Good condition but there are some pages with a child’s crayon which are mostly small and in the margins.
