Gordon the Big Engine by Rev. W. Awdry is for sale. Gordon The Big Engine is Number 8 in the Thomas the Tank Railway Series. This is the 1958 first edition third impression.
The original pale blue /lilac boards with gilt decoration and lettering to the front are in Very Good condition being slightly grubby and with discolouring to the spine
There are 62 numbered pages with text to the left and colour illustrations to the right hand side. There are cracks to the internal hinges with pages bound in but loose. Pages are clean and in overall Very Good condition. This is a wonderful and collectable example of this early Thomas the Tank book by the Rev. W. Awdry.
